In a world of magic and spirits, there stands a stark expanse of unnatural desert, the white sand lifeless until the Erien comes into view. An eight mile high perfect cylinder of glass, the Erien protects The Citadel, the arcane heart and sword of the Kehmsarazan Empire. This is where Suvirin Kedberiket was born and raised, amongst the brightest arcane minds in the world.
Suvi is the only daughter of the wizards Soft and Stone, two of the Citadel's most renowned heroes, who tragically gave their lives in defense of the Kehmsarazan Empire when Suvi was eight years old. Heartbroken and with impossible shoes to fill, Suvi was taken in by her mother's best friend and the Sword of the Citadel, the wizard Steel.
Aside from a brief summer spent at the cottage of a witch with her true friends, Suvi grew within the confines of the Citadel's machine, where intelligence is valued above all else, and that intelligence is to be trained on the enemies of the Empire. Striving to live up to the legacy of her parents, Suvi molded herself into the perfect student and soldier.
As a result, Suvi graduated at the top of her class, and is the youngest ever wizard to be made an apprentice to an Archmage. With her namecloak, Sky, firmly in place, Suvi is ready to show the world how brilliant she is.
